A Ruff Life Boarding Services

At A Ruff Life we are quite different from the dormitory kennels which hold 40, 60, or more dogs and cats in small cages or runs. We only accept a small number of dogs which will be in our home environment. With such a small number clients taken at any given time, every pet is assured a comfortable, personal stay.

A Ruff Life guests stay in our home and can play in the house, our fenced yard or the grooming shop providing endless exercise, socialization, and interaction. All for one price.

Board for single nights or for extended periods.
Cage-free environment.
A free bath is included with every pets stay. (if fleas and ticks are found a capstar and/or flea and tick bath is given at a fee of $15)
Drop-off and pick-up 7 days a week by appointment.
Each pet receives hands-on attention and affection.
Exercise, socialization, and interaction all day.
We administer medications per your instructions. There is no extra fee.

Boarding Requirements
All pets must have current shots, including rabies, DHLPPC, and bordatella (kennel cough). Pets must be neutered or spayed at the appropriate age (A Ruff Life will consider exceptions). New pets will be individually evaluated and introduced slowly into the community. Ill pets and pets with temperament problems will not be accepted.

Rates
Small Dogs under 35lbs - $25/night $160/wk
Larger dogs over 35lbs - $35/night $230/wk

NOTE: We do limit the number of large dogs.
